SBE December Meeting Announcement

The December meeting of the Society of Barley Engineers will be held on Wednesday, December 7th @ 6pm at Booze Brothers Brewery in Vista. The topic this month will be Specialty IPA presented by Ryan Reschan.

2) Homebrew sharing and discussion.
3) Recaps and announcements.
4) 2017 Membership Dues

I also wanted to remind folks that you’re welcome to bring beer to share just with the folks around you. If you have a small pour of homebrew or commercial beer feel free to bring it to share during the time before/after the meeting.

SBE April Meeting – Advance Notice

SBE Members,
We are sending out an early notice for the April meeting since both the day and location of our meeting is changing. Please mark this on your calendars:

The April meeting of the Society of Barley Engineers homebrew club will be held on Tuesday April 7th @ 6pm at Booze Brothers Brewing Company in Vista. We will feature guest speaker, Kelsey McNair who will speak on “Mastering the Art of Hop-Fu!”. Kelsey is a self-proclaimed hop-head that that has won three NHC gold medals for his Hop-Fu! IPA and also won the 2010 Stone AHA rally competition which provided us with the Kelsey McNair/Stone Brewing/Ballast Point Session IPA. This presentation will be a precursor to his presentation at the National Homebrew Conference.

Booze Brothers beer will be available and we will have catered food from Feliccia’s Italian Restaurant. We will be sending out an RSVP announcement a few days before the event which will have more details.

SBE May Meeting Announcement

The May meeting of the Society of Barley Engineers homebrew club will be held on Wednesday May 4th @ 6p.m. at the Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens and will focus on India Pale Ales. We will have special guest speakers Dan Love and Tom Garcia to lead this discussion. Dan is the founder and brewmaster for Mother Earth Brew Co. and Tom is the founder and consultant for TAG Brewing Solutions. The entree of the evening will be Pesto Penne with Chicken & Tomato.
