About

Society of Barley Engineers is a homebrew club based in North County San Diego, CA. The club was founded in 1994 by a group of avid homebrewers.

Mission:

Our mission is to advocate the exchange of information relating to the art and science of brewing, thereby promoting quality engineered homebrews.

Monthly Meetings:

The club typically meets at Booze Brothers Brewing in Vista on the first Wednesday evening of every month starting at 6:00PM. Location and date are subject to change, so please check this website for the latest information. If you are potentially interested in joining, you are welcome to come to a meeting or two to see what we are about.

Discussions are led by members and outside experts who present information to the club from research and experiences. Meetings are otherwise informal and include planning for special events, sampling and judging beers, and general socialization.
