April Meeting – SD Beer & Beer News in the Age of COVID

The April meeting of the Society of Barley Engineers will be held via Zoom on Wednesday, April 7th @ 6:00 pm.  We are excited to announce that our featured presenter will be Brandon Hernández of San Diego Beer News® (among many other notable contributions to San Diego’s craft beer scene). Brandon’s multi-faceted talk will cover “San Diego Beer & Beer News in the Age of COVID”, including his own journalistic journey, and details on an upcoming feature in San Diego Beer News® (that will be of special interest to homebrewers. March Meeting – A History of West Coast IPA w/ Vinnie Cilurzo

The March meeting of the Society of Barley Engineers will be held via Zoom on Wednesday, March 3rd @ 6:00 pm.  We are honored to announce that our featured presenter will be Vinnie Cilurzo of Russian River Brewing. For the March “Love Your Local” activity, we are encouraging all members to find Russian River brews at their favorite local bottle shop, or store, to enjoy before, during and after the meeting. Sounds like a yummy idea, right?

Febrewary Meeting – A Chat with Charlie Papazian

During the Covid-19 pandemic, we will be holding our meetings on a Zoom video conference. The meeting number will be sent out by email to the membership list on the day of the meeting.

Please note the meeting will start at 5:30pm with the main presentation beginning at 6pm in order to accommodate our East Coast speaker.
