SBE August Meeting Announcement

The August meeting of the Society of Barley Engineers will be held on Wednesday, August 3rd @ 6pm at Booze Brothers Brewery in Vista. The topic this month will be Microbiology of Fermentation by Curt Wittenberg.

Don’t forget, if you’re interested in bringing a beer for thorough feedback from qualified judges outside of the normal sharing time we’re starting a new program called Feedback Corner. Just find the duo before the meeting gets started and they’ll provide you with their expert opinion and recommendations on improvement.

SBE March Meeting Announcement

The March meeting of the Society of Barley Engineers homebrew club will be held on Wednesday March 4th @ 6pm at the Stone Brewing World Bistro in Escondido. The focus topic, Fermentation Temperature Control, will be led by Dan Kutcher & Jacques Guilloton. Please try to bring shared beer in one container as we are paying a fee by container to allow homebrew to be served. Food will be available upstairs for a 15% discount off of the menu pricing.

Oktober Meeting Fermenting…


The Oktober meeting of the Society of Barley Engineers homebrew club will be held on Wednesday Oktober 6th @ 6p.m. at the Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens and will focus on Fermentation Science.  The entree of the evening will be pesto penne with chicken & tomato.  Directions are available on the Stone Brewing Company website [PDF link].
